PostConform is an EDL (Edit Decision Lists) import / auto-conform software application that enables automatic capture and spotting of audio elements to picture. It greatly increases productivity by automatically loading and conforming production sound and other audio elements according to industry-standard CMX EDL files. EDLs specify where to place specific sound elements within a program. PostConform automatesthe process of assembling an EDL into a Pro Tools session file. Using machine control in the autoconformprocess, PostConform automatically locates and records the sound elements selected by the user.PostConform then assembles these elements into their proper positions in the program, as specified by theEDL. If the picture editor makes changes to the program, PostConform can "re-conform" the loaded soundelements to a new EDL.Plus or a video card.
