From SmartLine :DeviceLock lets network administrators specify which users can access which devices (ports, floppies, optical disks) on a local Windows NT/2000/XP or Windows Server 2003 computer. Once DeviceLock is installed, administrators can assign permissions to CD-ROM, DVD, USB, FireWire, infrared, LPT, and COM ports to any other device, just as they would to a hard drive.
What's New in DeviceLock 5.52: Now you can define the read-only access type for devices (floppy, removable, CD-ROM, hard disk) to allow the reading of files and directories; Major internal improvements; Changes in the user manual and in the help file.
