"Didn't Work For Me"
Version: Desktoptopia 1.0.0.31
Pros
No pros to report.
Cons
Installed twice. Appeared to unzip properly. Then it just plain didn't work.
Summary
Using Windows Vista Home Premium, 32-bit, SP2
I will readily admit it could be operator error on my part or maybe I overlooked something. However, this is not normal for me.
There is not much detail to provide. Generally, I have no issues with downloads from CNET. In this case, everything acted as you would expect until the installation was complete and I clicked on the desktop shortcut. A little box came up with a few tabs and options that did basically nothing. I didn't feel like sending the error log to the company and troubleshooting the problems because I don't feel I should have to do this upon first launch. There are too many good programs out there to waste time with one that gives me problems from the start.
This may be a good program, it just didn't work for me. -
"Didn't work"
Version: Desktoptopia 1.0.0.31
Pros
It sounded good...
Cons
I tried installing this twice, but both times it kept crashing, and wouldn't even let me through the setup process.
Summary
I'll probably try this again in the future because it sounds good. May work okay for others.
(By the way, I'm using Windows XP Pro).
