Pros: Very nice and handy. Gives you so much. This program was well put together.

"Beautiful desktop but the price always has to be paid..."
Pros: This program enables users with more powerful computers to totally change the way their desktop looks with lots of well-designed, stylish widgets and objects. The word "object" is used here as a sustitute for "shortcuts." Nothing much special about them, except the design. However, the widgets are unique desktop programs, but theyd do require more RAM to work properly and smoothly.
Some examples of Objects would be: AOL, DVD-ROM, Internet Explorer, Media Player etc. Examples of Widgets are Desktop Clocks, Calendars, WebBrowsers (with lots of stylish, transparent designs. My favorite is Aero), calculators, MP3 players - the list goes on and on... Overall, a great program. But it has its own problems also.
Cons: 1. Requires at least 256MB RAM for animations to work perfectly. After you install it and go to Widgets folder and click on "fishy" a fish will pop up and "swim" around your desktop creating a beautiful enviroment. If you have less than 128MB of RAM that fish will kill your computer. There is no way to turn it off except logging off or restarting the computer.
2. Will not work with some video cards. If you have a video card made before 1998 then don't even bother installing this software.
3. If you have a slow computer, the time to load while your computer starts would take you an evolution. If you do have a slow computer then I suggest to turn the "Load when Windows starts" option off in the DesktopX configuration.
I will recommend this program to ANYONE who has a good deal of RAM (512MB+) to download this program. It's free and truly enjoyable. There is no adware or spyware installed when you install this application. The PRO version supports Windows 95 & 98 but the only REAL requirement for this program is RAM.

Pros: The program is composted of simple applications that are disguised under very well done eye candy. This application gives some flair to the boring desktop. I like it a lot.

"Great overall ease and performance..."
Pros: Great desighns and layouts also ones that are pre made, the performance is great and it is very very reliable, i have it on 2 of my computers and it never fails, if you want somthing that works this is the best.
Cons: Steep $24 price for more options

Pros: Makes you feel just like a Mac!!! Incredible! Download hundreds of widgets off of their site! No spyware and free!
