    "Get Organized - Stay Organized"

    June 3, 2013  |   By KedallTom

    Version: Desktop-Reminder 2.56

    Pros

I liked the program so much I purchased the full version.

    - Extremely easy to use; no user manual needed.
    - Program uses a combination of auditory and visual cues.
    - Keeps you motivated to manage your time effectively.

    Cons

Allows for Task start times only, no end time designation available.

The biggest negative is that the program deletes completed tasks. So much for your sense of accomplishment! All you see are tasks to be completed. Furthermore, there is no option to retain completed task history for use in performance and work method improvement evaluation.

    Summary

I can recommend the program to people who do not require more finite task scheduling or retention of completed work for future reference.

"Great free, easy to use reminder program."

    April 10, 2012  |   By migrator.sandy

    Version: Desktop-Reminder 2.54

    Pros

Does what I want, is easy to use and install, and it's FREE.

    Cons

    None that I have found.

    Summary

Wonderful little program that is very easy to install and use. I have tried others but didn't like them because they were too complicated and discouraging to use. I can't believe this program isn't the #1 pick.

    "Clean,easy and reliable ."

    August 25, 2010  |   By mic84

    Version: Desktop-Reminder 1.18

    Pros

It can hold message sizes that would equal a book review. It allows for regular changing of message times within the same day, setting repeats within the same week, month and year with annual events enabled. Stores in tray.

    Cons

Free version has no alarm or fine tuning of time which when put together would make the overall use much more enjoyable. The view is work man-ish without colour or any bells and whistles. Like being able to increase the size of the very small text.

    Summary

I like the product , it has not missed a time, it pops up where you want on the screen [move by minimize from different place will reopen last place], has a good calendar. plenty of note room, fine enough time tuning [for free],the paid for version seems to cover all matters that is lacking in the free model.other than this the free model works well and will serve anyone looking for a free, easy notice reminder.

    May 6, 2010  |   By sandyklaw

    Version: Desktop-Reminder 1.14

    Pros

Installed without a hitch on Windows 7, 64bit.
So many of these reminder programs are difficult to implement but "Desktop Reminder" is as easy as it gets.

    Cons

    None, zero, nada, zilch!

    Summary

I would highly recommend this program for anyone who needs and wants a friendly reminder from your computer!
