This program works with all Avery templates, which is god since they publish both!

Now for the issues. I downloaded this program to print labels for my CDs. If I understand the look of my CD, it is ROUND. So why can I not print text that is curved at the edges? You are given choices of shapes to include in the label, but you cannot add text to the shapes. This seems very basic stuff. Also, why don't the Avery template numbers we buy in the stores match the templates in their applications? Too many discrepancies. To those who say this is a good deal for a free product, remember that you are buying their paper, and that is where the money is.

This is better than most pay products I've used and it's free! It took me 10 minutes to plan, design, and print my business cards and they look great

The big pro is that it is FREE! All I needed was software to print personal business cards and that doesn't justify spending $39.99. It is strange that this Avery program is not available on the Avery website--all they have are Word templates, which are not as easy to use.
Cons
It's a little buggy. The "show grid" option doesn't show the grid. Also, occasionally when you highlight text to change the font style or size nothing happens; indeed the font style and size drop down boxes grey out and become unuseable.

I know you get what you pay for, but this program sucks. Might as well use Notepad. Don't waste your time unless you're making VERY basic labels.

I downloaded two business card makers that were "free to try". They both crashed over and over - don't know why. One expired and the other printed "trial version" on the card after so much work!

"Great freeware software!"

Summary
Downloaded this program to make businesscards.
Installation was easy, and after the necessary reboot the program gave me the choice to start a wizard (amongst other choices).
It has lots of templates and images, but you can also use any kind of picture of your own.
Also, setting up the page to the dimensions needed is easy, have had problems setting up pages in other (payed) programs before.
After finishing and saving a project, it is stored including page dimensions! Great :)
Haven't used it for dvd-labeling, but guess it's just as good as for businesscards and labels.
As far as I can tell it's spyware free.
A "Must have" free peace of software!
