"Excellent tool for creating software installations"
Version: DeployMaster 3.3.3
Pros
Easy to work with
Full-featured
Reasonable price
Very robust
Regular updatesCons
Couple of places where you enter the same info twice, i.e., where you have an opportunity to be inconsistent.
It should be easier to change the wording of the user messages.
Some of the features are a little hard to understand at first.Summary
I've used this for several years now to create software installation packages. It does everything I need it to. Very robust and full-featured. I haven't exercised even close to all of the features.
By the way, I use all of the Just Great Software products that pertain to my work (DeployMaster, EditPad Pro, PowerGREP, AceText, RegexBuddy, RegexMagic). They are all excellent, very useful, high-quality products. -
"I haven't tried it yet but was checking the reviews. Is No. 2 the developer?"
Version: DeployMaster 2.8
Pros
I am always looking for these even though I broke down and bought InstallAware. The second review listed here shows the reviewer as "Reviewer: jgsoft ". Now, I believe in promoting your own stuff but, actually reviewing it yourself? That's for us to do. I'm sure many here, review there own under psudo names but at least the are a little more stealthy. I'll still try it.
Cons
Don't know yet.

"Easy to learn, works extremely well"
Version: DeployMaster 2.5.1
Summary
Nice layout, using tabbed pages in a logical progression. The 'Files' page - where you assign your executable and associated files - could be a _little_ more intuitive and powerful.
Generation of the final executable (1.44MB images and up) is quick and easy.
The final image runs extremely fast and stably, and fully meets the maker's claim of a superb end-user experience. -
"DeployMaster creates the best-looking installers I've ever seen"
Version: DeployMaster 2.5.1
