I would like to know if this'll work on a non-Dell PC. My computer at work is not a Dell and I'd love to use this. I've tried ObjectDock and I like the Dell Dock better! Can someone reply and let me know please? Should I just try it, or would thatbring about doom, destruction, despair,disaster, and a bunch of other D-words?

Icon selection should be more comprehensive for shortcuts included in the Dock.

The only con I can think of is that you have to still set it up...LOL...always something, eh??? hehehe

Well, I just bought a new Dell Desktop and it came with a program that was factory installed called "Dell Stage". Between the two programs....well, just let me say this, my new computer now has Dell Dock alone. Dell Dock Rocks!!! Dell Stage is ok but it no longer has a home in my new computer!! I took it out!

"Nice Attempt at a Dashboard but Crashes Often!!!"

Easy access to favorite programs in a clean, suit-cased, and streamlined area on the desktop. Customizable: Icon pics, transparency/location of Dashbar & the ability to cater to the individual programs of your choice!
Cons
CRASHES and BURNS far too often...slows down my system as a whole when it gets in a crashing fit

I like it, I love it (at times), but dont wont no more of it until Dell can step up to the likes and functionality of it's rivaled sister: The Apple Dashboard.

Worked really well when I first got my computer. When my motherboard died, it disappeared.
Cons
After Dell Dock disappeared, I've downloaded it a couple of separate times, but it willnot install.
Summary
I'd love to have it back, but something is preventing it from installing on my computer.

Provides an easy to use interface that allows you to create a dock with commonly used applications and files that can be sorted into categories.
Cons
This program meet my needs without any cons. Some users might find it to not be flashy or animated enough to suit their tastes, but I like the simplicity of the interface and style.

I found this dock to be simple, easy to use, and very handy.
