Version: Defzone MultiVPN Client 2.1
"Not for the faint at heart and pretty much everyone else"
Cons: For starters I know it's Freeware, but even so they shouldn't have bothered to post it. I just want others folks to be aware and not waste their time with this VPN client.
Documentation is so weak I didn't even know how to get this up and running or at least try to make a connection. With most other VPN clients, there are configuration windows that kind of make sense, and some type of "Start" "Connect" or "Open Tunnel" button to hopefully get the ball rolling. This app as far as I can tell doesn't even have this.
Support on their website is also non-existent even though they say it is. According to their site there was suppose to be a FAQ on the product but I couldn't find one. There was also mention of How To guides to get the client to work with some of their VPN hardware products. The only thing I could find was a How To on using the Windows Vista client with their 300 series product.
If this was a marketing decision to get their name out there for their hardware products, they should think real hard about pulling their vpn client or at least making if more usable, since if their vpn client documentation reflects what documentation and support will be like on their hardware products, then I wouldn't even consider them as door stops.
The only reason I gave it 1 star was because it was the only way to submit this review.
