"Very GOOD!!!!!!!!!!"
Version: DeepRipper 1.1
Pros
I downloaded it and started using it right away. It's a small file that handles everything I asked it to do. I couldn't be more pleased.
Cons
None that I can think of.

"This review does not compute"
Version: DeepRipper 1.1
Pros
I don't know this software, but I want to complain about download.com's rating system. DON'T BELIEVE the ***** rating here. Don't bother with this software. See my comments below why (based on Download's review text)
Cons
Why does this software get 5 stars from download when it doesn't even check a database for the name of the tracks, while Koyote's excellent FREE converter, which does, and also puts a number in front of each track - so your album tracks are not sorted alphabetically at the end of the rip- only gets 4 stars. Please explain, D.com!!

"Versatile, quick, reliable ripper"
Version: DeepRipper 1.1
Pros
Rips to a good range of formats very quickly and reliably. Good clean, functional interface. Just does exactly what it says on the tin, with no fuss at all.
-
"Work in Progress. No development since Feb. 2005 however."
Version: DeepRipper 1.1
Pros
Nice simple interface.
Free.
Supports VBR.
Cons
Almost Zero configuration options - no name and directory configuration, or CDDB support for querying CD title information.
So basic, that its extremely inflexible and user hostile in terms that you have to name each track individually.
Not updated since Feb. 28, 2005.
Try FreeRIP or Fairstars ripper for more feature full options while still being very easy to use. Try Exact Audio Copy, CDex, or AudioGrabber for more advanced options.

-

Cons
You have to type in the track info.
