"Does The Job"

Burns number of CDs eg 10 with ease

Cant remove 2secs gap between tracks. Plus didnt always pick up the CDr when inserted & had close the cd draw again & it picked it up
Summary
All in all did the job, but only the same as vista with the 2sec gap, which is why i didnt want to use vista's own explorer burner in first place. Happy tho as u can set number u wanna burn & just re-insert a new cd.

Software sounds like it would be good but you can't download it without downloading their taskbar, too. The description on this page should say that.
Cons
It might be "spyware free," as Download.com claims but I don't want taskbars included with my software.

Pros
Some what simple to use, and offers a few features. It was more than what I needed. I loved how it was able to erase my CD-RW when the windows software couldn't.
Cons
I haven't had any problems using this software... maybe a better GUI would help.
Summary
Great free software and worth the download... So far I haven't failed to burn or erase a CD with DeepBurner.

Work on older laptop (Acer T4000). Used to be my best CD Burner
Cons
Not the new laptop (Aspire 4930G). It said no compatible writer.

Simple; does the job.
Tutorials in "help" section are easy to follow.
Doesn't add a bunch of stuff to your computer like Daemon lite does.
Recordings have good sound qualityCons
It doesn't seem to "like" music files I've ripped from CD using Windows Media Player. I haven't tried using deepburner to rip yet, but it's probably ok.

User interface could be more polished, but not a deal breaker.
Summary
Tired Cheetah DVD burner and it didn't work for me. Installed DeepBurner instead and burned a large ISO DVD very efficiently. No problems. Good software.

Failed to work on my new Vista machine. Hung at the end of the session and refused to close. Audio CD not burned correctly and unplayable. Removed from machine after two attempts. Also, not veyr keen about the interface.
Summary
Didn't function for me. Now using Ashampoo free edition, which works fine.

I had no problems burning on my old CD-RW which is not supported in some programs with no errors.
Cons
none that found up to this point.
