Version: DeSmuME 1.51
"The best emulator for the most advanced DS ROMs."
Pros: It has great graphics quality and perfect audio. It has a built-in audio and video recorder, just like in VisualBoy Advance (the top GBA emulator). And it's the only emulator I've tried that was successful at running Pokemon HeartGold (J) (4168).
Cons: It lags a lot during gameplay, especially if you have other programs running. DeSmuME uses up a lot of CPU itself, so try to minimize the number of parallel applications. That's just about my only grievance about the product.
Summary: All in all, DeSmuME is the best choice for all those gamers who want the best quality experience while playing DS games. I would definitely recommend this emulator to my friends. read more
