"The best emulator for the most advanced DS ROMs."

    September 14, 2009  |   By pikalax1

    Version: DeSmuME 1.51

It has great graphics quality and perfect audio. It has a built-in audio and video recorder, just like in VisualBoy Advance (the top GBA emulator). And it's the only emulator I've tried that was successful at running Pokemon HeartGold (J) (4168).

It lags a lot during gameplay, especially if you have other programs running. DeSmuME uses up a lot of CPU itself, so try to minimize the number of parallel applications. That's just about my only grievance about the product.

All in all, DeSmuME is the best choice for all those gamers who want the best quality experience while playing DS games. I would definitely recommend this emulator to my friends.
