"Very inconvenient to use"
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Pros
It's free, and I think it has a lot of potential. I can become really good program with some improvements.
Cons
Once you start using the program, many design flows become evident.
Can't just open php file, need to create project.
No installer, so need to create own shortcut and file associations.Summary
It is a good start, but needs many improvements to be useful for real applications.

"Horrible software."
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Cons
There is nothing good about using projects for an editor... They just group together files that you say to(there are those things called folders!), which is pointless, especially if you want to upload single files up to a web server... This editor is not what it could be.

Cons

"Good product, but why use projects?"
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Pros
The syntax highlighting is very good.
Cons
Why the need for projects? If you want to edit one file only, you shouldn't have to create a project just for that reason.

"Decent but sometimes awkward PHP IDE"
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Pros
Davor's put a lot into this package that once began as a quick'n'dirty editor. There's Syntax Highlighting, Auto Complete, HTML and PHP Preview, and a powerful Code Explorer which reads all your project files and finds PHP variables, functions and classes in JavaScript and PHP sections.
Cons
While the author has taken this from a quick'n'dirty editor to a full-blown app, it would be nice to have retained some of the simple features rather than forcing everything to be a project.

"Great PHP Edito"
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Pros
Great program for beginners like me. I found most of my typo's in less than half the time it was taking with notepad. I am very pleased.
Cons
I would like this program to highlight matching '', "", (), {}, and []. It would make learning a little easier.

"Not easy enough to start straight away..."
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Pros
I haven't tried it enough to find any.
Cons
I couldn't open a PHP file without creating / opening a project what makes working with it very uncomfortable!

"Great editor for PHP as well as HTML, Javascript, etc"
Version: Davor's PHP Editor 1.0.3.3
Summary
This editor highlights and changes color of your PHP and HTML keywords.
You can then tell if you're missing the all important bracket or semicolon.
A serious programming lifesaver.
As far as the "$ search" thing mentioned in other reviews, you folks need to understand it is SUPPOSED to work that way. $ is the string variable, and when you press $ the editor brings up a list box of your current strings, which is actually very cool.
I highly recommend this product.
And it is totally FREE, no tricks, registers, no spyware, just FREE and great! -
"Unable to close or exit program"
