"This is a great product; it worked on a very tough job."
Version: DataThief 3.0
Pros
It did a great job of pulling data out of a semi-log graph that was only black and white and had three curves very close to each other. I had a some problems with a poor quality graph, but when I read the directions and realized I might have to adjust the intensity level of the color (it was only black and white, but the reproduction was poor enough that some of the poorly reproduced lines that were gray came out white instead of black. When I changed the contrast, the program worked like a champ.
Cons
I had to read the directions in order to figure out how to get it to work correctly but I can't really in good conscience mark it down for that. It is sophisticated software and it needs some explanation
Summary
If you need to pull numerical values off of a graph, you absolutely must have this software.
