Version: Data Recovery - NTFS 3.0.1.5
"This software is BROKEN"
Pros: If you are lucky, this software may actually work for you!
Cons: Software is unfinished. Many crashes. Ugly GUI. Help file is almost empty. Only works when user account control in Vista is turned off, but error message does not always tell you. Scan hangs for no reason with no recovery.No clear error messages.
Summary: The software partially works, and if you bang your head against a wall for three days like I did, you can get it to work. But why? There are better alternatives: QueTek or R-Studio for example. Look at the history of comments on this software. All of the positive ones were in October 2008! Obviously the developer is spamming these comment boards. Shady company with no tech support, broken help links. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE.
