Version: Data Doctor-Audio Splitter 2.0.1.5
"simple, freeware product that does what it says."
Pros: I used it to take commercials & newsbreaks out of podcasts of radio shows. A little clunky, but it worked fine with no glitches or problems. Quick, good quality. Going to compare it to NCH's Slice and AIVSoft's mp3 splitter to see which is best.
Cons: If anything were to be changed, I guess you could make saving the new portions of the recording with new, individual names a little more automated, but typing in a new name for each section wasn't a problem for me.
Summary: Sorry that I don't have much more to say in this, my first entry on CNET. But I can say that I had no problems, no ads, no viruses, no crashes, etc with this product. And maybe that will help someone else if they're deciding whether to download & try it.
