a very handy tool......make u work with more concentration (at least for me, coz i got disturbed for lot of things on my desktop).............any way its good for me.......u can just look over it........it will be fun.... :)

It is a very plain application. It does not need installation, I guess it is portable.
Black background is also good for not tiring th eyes.
Cons
full-screen mode and smaller modes may be confused. Once you press esc you can return to full-screen only by pressing esc again.

I especially like the color combination. It's not a sterile white to hurt the eyes, instead it is a pleasant mixture of dark against dark. I'm a Children's Author and highly recommend this program as it is non-distracting, non-glare, just straight forward. My eyes become tired easily because I'm always on the computer, but with this program I am able to be productive longer. Many thanks to the programmers.

Wish it were more configurable, for instance font size, etc.

Strange homepage, always asking for money.Product didnt work, tech help does not exist for simple questions like, "why doesnt this work?" If your into spy cookies and potential virus, then this is the thing for you

Distraction free bliss!
Pleasing colors and adjustable. Very nice.
I removed navigation and only have a small count down timer I use in conjunction.
Cons
writing area is narrow, but this serves to help me see the progress I have made.
I wish it had a time date stamp feature, so that I wouldn't have to minimize and restore quite so often. I have a habit of TD Stamping my wok as it progresses.

This product really helps children and adults concentrate on what really matters. By putting a black background, Dark Room helps the writer to concentrate on the paper. I can't recommend this product highly enough!

Could use a little more features and an installer, but generally good.
