I've looked into other DVD creation software and this is by far the simplest. It supports a large range of file formats.

It works just like it says and it is free, free free.
Cons
not really much of a con but I actually had to read the instructions on how to use it but I figured it out quickly. and you have to use a separate program to actually burn the files to a DVD disk. IMG Burn works great.
Summary
This program is perfect if you have AVI or MPEG 2 files that you want to convert, burn to DVD and play them on a DVD player. You just have to download and install IMG Burn to actually burn the files to the disk. Everyone should already have IMG Burn to burn ISO files anyway.

Summary
5 stars because I've run into no problems. It does exactly what it says it will do, nothing more or less. I got this because I had a lot of large MPEG2 movie files on my computer that I occasionally like to burn to disc. I needed a program that would take those files and compress them enough for a standard DVD, which is exactly what this does. It isn't a burning program, it uses another burner you have installed on your computer (in my case ImgBurn) so if you combine this and another free burning program, you can't go wrong.

a one hr. dvd created took 90 minutes to burn (i had 16 vids in the project), but every single one had audio dropouts throughout; they looked great, though...sometimes one or two, some with a dozen or more!!! vids sounded perfectly before burning!
Summary
it IS a well-designed, easy as sh*t to use program (the easiest I ever used, at least) BUT was disappointed at the end result with the audio of all the videos burned...can't even give 3 stars for good.

Summary
I love this little program. Very easy to use. I was having difficulty burning some avi. files. just used dvd flick to convert to dvd and the quality was 10/10 audio and 10/10 video. Definitely worth using. Plus it's free to download.

Pros
Excellent in making DVDs, gives options for setting both video and audio quality. Able to burn the dvd as well.
Cons
Does not allow one to design own dvd menu. Their predefined menus would not allow the dvd encoding to complete sucessfully. Without them the program works efficiently.

Can make dvds with ease from ALMOST ANY video file. Its amazing!!! Its the only software that i could get to burn video dvds coreectly! and its free!

It works. Easy to use.
Cons
When folks say that this software is slow, they mean it takes 3 hours to complete. That is too long. Using the default features, the audio is out of sync every time. I even increased the bit rate and no change.
