"Simple program that works at times"

Pros
Fairly easy to use. It did not require recoding after the cut was made, a problem that I had with Freemake video converter. The recoding on that program greated lapses in the clip when burned to dvd-r.
Cons
Sometimes works on mpeg files. When you go save the renmaining file, it may fail to save that file. I converted one file to a vob file using mac x converter. That file cut well without any trouble. So I will say that it is probably fine for vob files and sometimes for mpeg files for it to work

Had to cut the saved clip again but it will be accurate and within seconds
Summary
DVD cutter is one of the best video cutters I have tested. You can make (click) a start and click an end of a selection while watching the DVD or video then all you need to click on save. The clip will be saved within seconds for a three to eight minute selection (a three minute clip was saved under four seconds!)

Now the slightly bad part, you have to start the clip selection two seconds before the part you wanted and make the end accurate. The output file will be accurate except the ending will exceed more than 15 seconds indeed! Most reviewers would give it a thumbs down BUT?.
All you need to do is cut the selection file, and it will be ACCURATE. Note, if the selection file already starts the intended beginning, pause and mark the start then play the video file click precisely where you want to mark the ending and the clip saved (possibly under four seconds) will be the exact selection you've intended.
Absolutely brilliant and simple software, especially when it's free. I have tested it only with the VOB (DVD video) files but that served the purpose (as you can convert to any other formats with other softwares). Two thumbs up?

"Interface is not adjustible, need improvement"

Interface looks simple with no 'Help'.
Cons
Interface doesn't fit my 19' monitor and not adjustible, no help button. To make it worst it accepts only one format ".vob" file. No way to import other format for testing or editing. Don't waste time downloading it, it's simple but useless
