DVD Cloner Pro is the powerful DVD movie clone software. It produces perfect copies every time, and does it quickly and efficiently. Video quality of copied discs is perfect, since there's no recompression or altering of the VOB files from the original disc. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Not working and support always answer with a "WE WILL REPLY WITHIN 2 HOURS" and that's it. This was back in 2009, 5 years ago and after several e-mails I have given up trying to get any answers from the support except the AUTO generated answer: We have our best man on the job It is a scam
Cons is correct word whoever is selling this program are conning people
keep away from it i am using windows 8 and all it does is freezes i have used clone cd and clone dvd and never had one problem at anytime still my reliable programs to fall back on if needed The only reason is i have tried something else is of the blue ray But anyone out there who can advise me of a genuine program please for copying blue ray most grateful
I own it. Confusing. Complicated. Back-engineered crashed-UFO cockpit interface. "Live Help" usu. tells you "the system is busy, create a ticket" which involves collecting obscure/dispersed info-bits, designed to demoralize users into simply going away. It DID compy some discs, but I can only play them on my laptop w/Toshiba DVD player, not Windows Media Player. My Q: Can anyone offer a real product w/o lying their heads off, engaging in sleazy, flat-out lying about their product's capabilities, while not even mentioning its limitations? "DVD Cloner 9" is one. Can ANYONE tell me, "It's quick! It's EASY" & it really is? I don't know ISO from jack, nor what a DVD9 or a DVD5 is, and I don't want to know. I don't care. What I want is to copy a DVD, & the guys in the white lab coats can worry aboutthe details, that's what I pay $39.95 for. Now, bec. Cloner-9 works so poorly, they tell me I need "DVD Ripper" $39.95. Gee, there's a shock.
Back-engineered crashed-UFO cockpit interface. If you're the guy who deals w/ this 10hrs a day, 6 days a week in Singapore programming it, I suppose it's clear. To me? It's confusing & you sit there staring at icons and symbols which aren't clearly "hot" or the link you need to click on.
How can this get such deservedly LOUSY reviews here, yet other places say, "It's the greatest software EVER invented! 5 stars!!" ?
It has copied some discs, sure. But the indices are dead. You cannot click on "chapters" -- you can hit "start" and watch to the end, or find the right spot, but if you copy instructional DVD's w/ chapters, etc., you're dead.
Have you been able to find a decent software package, it appears from what you said we are in the same boat..finding the same lies and bs...I am looking for something that will work with win 7, will burn my downloaded movies usually in avi format or mp4, and not mess with the different aspect ratios so I end up with goofy looking dvd's, is easy to use, simple to understand and is not something you need to take a night course to understand.....please reply to email@example.com
Used DVD Cloner 8-- kinda sorta worked...made quite a few frisbees along the way. Did an OK job, all in all. Did I learn? NO!! I purchased 2013-- DL'd it-- just flat out does not load for me. Herman St. passes the buck and suggested to me to contact the DVD Cloner folks for activation problems-- ALL I GOT FROM THOSE CLOWNS WAS GENERIC INSTRUCTIONS-- and around the mulberry bush I went.
Still waiting to hear from Herman St about a refund. Do you think I will get one?? Lookin' bleak....
Read ALL these reviews and you get the idea. Worthless trash.
Confusing interface. Despite many hours of trying, with help from middle-of-the-night tech support (presumably in India), I was unable to copy a movie successfully. Despite following their instructions to a) upgrade to latest build, b) update DVD writer driver, and c) do many fiddles suggested by tech support, such as "play a movie for 1 minute on your computer before starting DVD Cloner", nothing worked. The best copy had pixelated areas and was unable to fast forward or reverse without freezing.
Waste of money. I'm waiting to see whether Herman Street will issue a refund.
