Version: DJ ToneXpress The Ringtone Creator Sidebar Gadget 1.1
Pros: I have been using DJ tonexpress from some time and this vista side thing works nicely. it saves me time, it looks and works perfectly.
Cons: can't use it as a standalone application

"Very cool gadget, something a bit more than expected :))"
Pros: I got a Vista notebook lately and i was surfing download.com for cool gadgets for my sidebar. When i stumbled upon this one it amazed me by being the only gadget i tried that really does something cool ... it helps you create a ringtone absolutely free!!
After downloading the ringtone to my phone i checked out the desktop version of the program and found out that it is even cooler... though i must admit that the support team had provided me with a slightly older version that supports all the features which are currently being updated for their new platform.
Anyway cool gadget, worth a try and a 5 star review!!
Cons: Ask for the 3.6.2 version of the desktop application to be able to make wallpapers and send SMS messages!!
other than that, the gadget rocks!!

Version: DJ ToneXpress The Ringtone Creator Sidebar Gadget 1.1
Pros: It's quick and easy to use. You just install the gadget which goes on your sidebar on your desktop and you make your ringtone from there.
Cons: Hardly any flexibility. When you move the scroll to pick the clip you want it's hard to pick your specific spot. And the clip can only be 15 seconds long.
Summary: Although the fact that the ringtone maker is free it doesn't quite balance out the fact that I can't get really specific on the part of the song I want. read more

Pros: It's fast, suuuuper easy, can use it as much as you want and a often as you want and its free! Plus it works on any phone (as far as I know....my parents, brother and some of my friends have used it on my computer)
Cons: Your phone has to be able to connect to the internet:)
