"Nice features but just not ready for release yet."

Pros
I like all the new features mentioned for this version of DAZ Studio.
Cons
This version still has some bugs to be worked out. Some of which were problems in the past that have crept back up and some that make it impossible to work in for MAC users. Some plugins have been added as standard but fail to load and do not show up in the tabs menu or on the icon menu at the top of the display. I can't use this version without some fixes to it.

"Great software for poser/daz content"

Pros
This product is intended for importing poser/daz content. Creating and/or animating a scene and then rendering.
It has unique features for posing and animating such as Puppeteer, which is a very intuitive, unique way of animating which allows those subtle motions a human being makes, without keyframing.
It works very smoothly with its optimized opengl interface and is the ideal tool for those new to 3d and useful for professionals too.
Cons
This software is not a fully featured 3d application like Carrara. So there is no modeller. The keyframe animation is unsophisticated and has other limitations.
However, it is free and does exactly what it says on the box, and does it well.
Worth downloading.

"A great FREE program"

Pros
DAZ Studio is free. That should be 'nuff said. But also, it offers a great interface to access and pose figures and scenes from other well-known programs, and will act as a "slave" for Carrara 6, another good program. They're not great, not the very best, but they don't cost as much either. The DAZ Studio posing interface is lots easier than most others.

"What a waste of my time"

Cons
Installed this program then couldn't figure out what to do next. Instructions not written in layman's terms. After installation, do I have to then purchase stuff on their website in order to make the program work? Could not figure out how to work this program. Spent over an hour of my precious time trying to find help on their website or their forum, no luck. Had to uninstall the program after a lot of frustration!

Yet again, for the fifty billionth time, download .com fails to deliver. YOU SHOULD HAVE BIG LOUD NOTICES THAT SAY IF YOU ARE USING DIALUP-PLEASE LEAVE THIS WEBSITE NOW! This service is complete crap.The app is probably great ,but this website is definately crap
