Didn't even get to try the actual program since the install added unwanted software and created problems.
Cons
installs unwanted software & then makes it difficult to uninstall. I am still trying to remove the hidden hooks.
Summary
I would not trust software from this company. The positive reviews are probably from employees, and not actual users. I am disappointed in Cnet for allowing them to post.

Does everything. Just double click on a iso and bam it mounts.

cant burn iso to dvd or cd.

Like i said take your time with the installer. They ASK if you would like the toolbar, and a few other things. uncheck those and your good. THEY DON'T JUST INSTALL THEM WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. EVERYONE THAT SAYS THE INSTALLED STUFF WITHOUT THERE PERMISSION RUSHED THREW THE INSTALLER. other than that this program has served me for many years. iv even contemplated buying the pro version.

Must read the fine print and DECLINE additional software (Coupon Companion, Strongvault, and SearchYa Toolbar). Those complaining about spam in this software likely didn't carefully read through each install step in the install wizard.

It may be tedious but read the fine print when installing software, especially when it's free.

didnt even try the software, because even though I tried not giving permission to load all the spam that came with this download it installed it anyway and it also changed my home page on my browsers, and installed tool bars......I DONT WANT!!

None any more. My computer crashed last November b/c of the BAD software RECOMMENDED by this site. Still not completely fixed.
Cons
Spy ware. Downloads stuff to your computer that you didn't give permission to have down loaded. Down loads a spamy search bar that you can't get rid of...and causes your computer to get so slow it crashes. I used to love this site. Not coming back after this.

If you love the computer you paid good money for- don't mess it up with this crack.

Until now I've never had any problems with it and find it very good for what I need it for. That is just to use it as a virtual DVD drive.
Cons
I recently, today (Jan 12, 2013), downloaded this Daemon Tools Lite to update the version I had already. Despite me unchecking the three boxes to say that I didn't want thr "Incredibar" toolbar or to have it as my "Home Page" or "Accept their T&Ca" it installed anyway!! My Comodo Firewall signalled it as KNOWN Malware. I am still in the process of getting rid of it after 3 hours of my time. It infected all my browsers (MSIE, Firefox and Chrome) and Hijacked my home page on ALL 3 Browsers.
Summary
If you want to get an infected computer DOWNLOAD otherwise find another program for "Virtual DVD Drive"

Trojan in the exe. I thought CNet was safe and at least checked the files.

Installs some software into all your internet browsers. I had change to my about:config file in Firefox just to get rid of the stupid thing. There is no warning that this software will be installed it is just installed without your consent. If i were downloading a new search bar for my browser i would download one not download daemon tools to get a new search bar. Let the person installing know you are going to install other crap software as well so then we have the choice to use another program that doesnt install some random search bar without our consent.
