"This is an older version and new Version has issues"

    September 1, 2014  |   By 1969Charger440

    Version: D7 9.7.22

    Pros

This old limited version is free.
It helps to save some time
You can add your third party apps to it.
    Does solve most windows issues

    Cons

    Limited functionality of free version
Very high cost of new version (this old version is not available to purchase)
There is another utility that actually works better and is much cheaper.
The main negative to this software is the attitude of the "author."

    Summary

If you want to purchase this software you will have to purchase d7ii. d7ii is a monthly or yearly subscription. I personally do not think the new version is worth anywhere near what he is currently charged for it. As I stated before, the main concern with this software is the creator. Any accusations I am about to make I have proof that it the interaction did take place and this is not based just on my opinion but rather on fact.

If you question in any non-positive manor whether the "d" products Nick will verbally attack you. He has done it many times as he just cant understand why people don't just pay him what ever he thinks its' worth and move on. I asked for my money back on d7ii and he include a note saying "don't ever try buy anything from me again, your money is not welcomed here." In another case, some one in a forum commented about the price being too high for them and he commented that: Paraphrase (He knows people in our line of work have money and we should just quit complaining and buy his product for what ever price he wants).

Conclusion: There is other software out there like this and the owner of one of them is very willing to work with you on his software. Given the price and attitude of the creator of this software, in my opinion, there is just no reason to buy it.

    "Maybe yes--but mostly maybe no"

    March 27, 2014  |   By StevenTorrey

    Version: D7 9.7.22

    Pros

The reviews here are all for an older version. The new version--10.4.33 seems to have very limited capacities. What it does have could be found from your own computer...

    Cons

It doesn't do anything that can't be done through other means and maybe more effective means... Netstat, command line, Systernals, etc...

    Summary

Maybe paying for the product gives greater flexibility and effectiveness... I have seen the Britec video--and he's working from an earlier version and from the version he is working with--it seems to work... But the version 10.4.33 seems dubious...

    "Awesome All-In-One Tool !!"

    October 23, 2012  |   By Lance Rhodes

    Version: D7 7.8.10

    Pros

Loaded with all of the features any tech would need to administer their system.

    Cons

Not for the inexperienced. Inexperienced users can easily damage their operating system, without knowing it.

    Summary

D7 has truly impressed me. You can tell a lot of thought went into the development of this software. To have all of the tools you would possibly need in one area is a major time saver. It is a very powerful tool, definitely not for the inexperienced. I would recommend D7 to any of my "tech" friends.

    "Just a Set of Links"

    August 24, 2012  |   By Ajax_Manatiso

    Version: D7 7.4.43

    Pros

You have easy download access to lots of great shareware

    Cons

It is just a program to quickly download and run other programs -- all it is is a link manager

    Summary

Not actually a diagnostic program itself but an interface with quick links to shareware programs in various categories

"Good virus for virus, spyware, worms, trojans. etc."

    August 14, 2012  |   By 2Larry2

    Version: D7 7.3.27

    Pros

D7 saved the operating system on a computer I was working on. I kept going back to the problem being in malware, but I had scanned with 4 programs. Finally, I tried D7 and the problems were fixed.

    Cons

    No cons that I found

    "Terrible since V7"

    August 5, 2012  |   By soldier1st

    Version: D7 7.3.11

    Pros

    A tech's dream tool

    Cons

    Version 7+ is payware only
1 license is 100 freaking USD(license only, not software)

    Summary

Since version 7 went payware only(without notice) i feel this app has gone downhill and not worth using.

    "Brilliant but very technical"

    November 7, 2011  |   By JerriePee

    Version: D7 4.7.9

    Pros

No install. Does more than most other similar programs. Additional program updater for other products.

    Cons

Playing on emotions for donations - come on, if the exchange rate wasn't that bad I would contribute - instead I removed it - only fair.
Those who can (last count over 44 thousand downloads) support this guy!
Way too technical for the average user.
    Slow in performing certain tasks.
    Basic interface.

    Summary

Sell it to technicians or companies - at least they'll know how to use it's power properly.
    Thought out and well executed.
Worthwhile tool for any tech-savvy person.

    "'Uninstall' Locked Me Out"

    August 20, 2011  |   By preachjohn

    Version: D7 4.2

    Pros

Good that it's available at all.

    Cons

    Too complicated for me.

    Summary

I realized that it was above my understanding once downloaded. I decided to remove D7. I couldn't find a way to Delete it. It apparently doesn't really install. I 'checked none' on the pages permitted to do so.
Undid 'system configuration' and closed. I rebooted and then couldn't get back in. Exploring various F8 options brought me a blocking lsass.exe error every time.
Last Know Good Configuration did the trick. Too scary. And from what I did, it shouldn't have locked me out of my OS.
The warnings are not for naught. A book online detailing all the functions needs to be available with it.
