"Software doesn't work, Horrible customer service"
None since I couldn't get the program to work.
Software doesn't work with Windows 8. Program crashes on startup. Customer service is horrible when trying to get a refund. I purchased the software online but they need a form filled out and signed before they'll issue a refund. If you can't fax or scan the form to send back via email then you can mail it to their address, which is in Germany! How much is international postage? I've never had to mail anything overseas.
I had 9 from my video card purchase which worked fine in windows 7, I only needed software to play blu ray movies on my pc with. After installing Windows 8 RC that program would error trying to play any blu ray movies. I bought version 12 hoping the latest version would be keeping their software up to date. But after installing the software it flat out crashes when trying to load. At least 9 would boot up the software.
The worst part though, and why I will never again do any business with Cyberlink, is their customer service. Since the software doesn't work I wanted my money back. After emailing them my details about my order and stating I wanted to a refund because their software doesn't work they emailed me back a pdf form that I had to fill out and sign. There is no reason they can't have a simple form online to fill out to issue a refund like so many other companies. Lucky for me I have a printer that is also a scanner so I was able to waste a sheet of paper printing out the form so I could sign it, then scan it back in to email it to them. Had I not had access to email them back the form I would have had to mail it in, which the only address they give is in Germany. Which after some quick research looks like it would be just over $10 for postage to mail.
After seeing this and reading some of the other customer service issues other people have posted about this company it is clear to me that they do not care about their customers and they have made it to my small list of companies that I will never do business with, regardless of how good of software they may ever make.
