This rummy variation tests your logic skills, but may have too steep a learning curve for beginners. The game follows the basic rules of gin rummy, although you play with tiles instead of cards. Your goal is to either get rid of all your tiles or have the fewest points remaining in your hand when the game ends. Combinations are formed by making straights or three-of-a-kinds, although you must obey several rules pertaining to the color of the tiles. Therefore, we'd suggest all players dig through the help files before starting, as the game fails to include a tutorial. Although Cub Rummy doesn't let you switch difficulty levels, the default computer opponent is quite skillful and easily defeated us in the several games we played for testing purposes. This game's graphics are nothing special, but you can change the color of the board and configure the animation speed. Happily, Cub Rummy is completely free, so folks who enjoy regular rummy will have plenty of time to learn this game's ins and outs.Publisher's description

"Cub Rummy is an addictive game! Very True"
Pros: My favorite part of this game was the Play for me options. If you cannot see a move to play, you can go up to play for me options it will play the next move for you. Most of the time I will mix up how I play the game.
Cons: The only con I think of is no undo options. You have to make sure the move you are doing is the move you want to do. I think this game could use undo options.

Pros: Looks good on Cnet download listing.
Cons: Their DLL file was relocated because it tried to take a DLL location that Windows xp (latest update from microsoft.com) uses. Off it goes. :(
