"The only thing that works."
Version: CrossFont 6.3
Pros
This converter recognizes postscript and font suitcase files! Most converters wont recognize files that don't have file extensions (like the two mentioned above). It's also very simple and easy to use. Drag your fonts into the window and it will recognize them for you, even if they're still in zip files. It will also do mass conversions. I've used it to convert 600 fonts at once. Simple and useful.
Cons
The help file on the website doesn't exist any more. It has one in the program, though.

"Nice Tool for Converting or Fixing Fonts"

Pros
This version adds the ability to fix messed up menu names.
Cons
None that I have found.
Summary
As a typography professional I am glad I found this valuable tool to add to my arsenal.

"Doesn't Work at All"
Version: CrossFont 6.3
Pros
None at all.
Cons
It doesn't work. It's not a true font converter. And they want money for it. I'm pretty familiar with font software and needed an inexpensive solution. If it doesn't work, it's not worth a thing. Poorly designed UI without any explanation.

"This product is complete garbage"
Version: CrossFont 6.0
Pros
It was easy to uninstall.
Cons
It didn't convert a single font... not one of 300. Unless you count being able to convert a TTF into corrupt and unusable files. Plus they called it a free download but you don't know it's a 15 day trial until you get it installed.
Summary
I went out of my way to say how crappy this product is, and I'm relieved to not have spent any money on it.

"Fast and accurate"
Version: CrossFont 5.3
Pros
I just downloaded and converted 2 Mac fonts to PC fonts in less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I'd previously spent an hour search for the Windows version of the font online, without success. This is an excellent program and has a 15 day free trial.

"very easy to use and works great"
Version: CrossFont 5.2
Pros
The interface is straight forward and very fast and easy to use. I work on a Mac at work and a PC at home and CrossFont has saved the day many times by making the two platforms font compatible. So far it hasn't failed to convert a font.

"Works great! Rare shareware value."

Cons
The user interface is minimal, but I don't expect much for the price.
