I too lost my software and need the drivers to access my Nomad II SE. The Special Edition cost over $700 at the time. To my shock Creative does not keep obsolete drivers. An email to Creative suggested I contact another number, who then gave me the customer support phone #. This was not a toll free call and they wanted to charge $12.95 for service. I was willing to pay that to get the drivers back and continue using my Creative product. They told me that they do not keep the old drivers and suggest I use Google to try an find them. Apparently directing valued customers elsewhere for customer support of their old products is a common action. They know full well that the need is there but leave it to others to provide the help. How much resources could it possibly take to save a copy of their own software??? $12.95 should from just one customer needing customer service should suffice for a lifetime storage of the software. Did they run out of space on their shelves and hardrives to save but a single copy which would allow customers to continue using older products? I will never buy Creative again, I want a company that will continue to support me and not leave me stranded after they roll out new products. Don't lose your software or you might as well through the old product in the trash.
Creative Tech support Technicians are very honest and helpful in dealing with the decisions made by their corporate officers to no longer support their older line of products. My Original Nomad player will not run under 2000 or XP. Makes sense to want to sell more product instead of wasting money supporting the "older" stuff. It doesn't change the fact that I'm stuck with this product that can no longer do what I paid money for it to do. I say Creative made a smart decision in hiring the Technicians they did. It'll be the thing that saves them if anything...
All you people who suggest tossing your old jukebox out the window should get the "Notmad" third party software, you can get it here at download.com. it's better than this junk anyware. FYI i have no affiliation with the notmad people.

Ill never get another creative mp3 product.... now i got to figure out what to do with my old mp3 player... i hope someone from creative sees this---> YOU SUCK!!!!!
No driver suppor for the original Nomad at ALL! I've lost my CD, can't find drivers at all and creative won't reply to any of my e-mails. Won't buy naother Creative MP3 player ever again.
Garbage! Don't lose your disk or you are TOTALLY out of luck!!!!
Creative has really screwed anyone who bought the Original Nomad. If you upgraded past ME it will not work unless you are running a duel boot system....that's if you didn't lose the CD because Creative has pulled all software offline and cosomer service will not help you.
I lost the CD, and it doesn't allow me to install. Enough said i believe.
I lost my cd for my standard NOMAD player, and they do not have it avalable to down load. Great now I am stuck with old music. Thank you Creative, bastards
Creative sucks, they fail to support their products.
