  "AWFUL - just AWFUL"

  Summary: This card just will not install ever - why creative can't just give a driver like everybody else instead of this totalitarian installation program rubbish - it's worse than SONY - it's worse than anything I've ever ever had to use - I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SOUNDBLASTER PRODUCT AGAIN. Just sour grapes? oh no no no - I've had troubles with this card ever since I bought it - the only way to install it is [and i mean this] is to utterly wipe your harddrive and reinstall windows again where magically the OS just finds the card and gives it the right drivers and everything. .. . can you do this again by some easy simple reinstall thing? NO! does it have the drivers on windows online update? NO! do creative have anywhere to give you instructions on the problems you have? NO! Does the soundcard just mess your machine up if you plug unpowered speakers into the back, or a line in from your walkman? OH YES!
  
  Don't buy this card - do NOT try and install these drivers! DO NOT EVER BUY SOUNDBLASTER CARDS!!!
