"Not available anymore, do not download"
Version: Courier Email 3.6
Pros
used to be my favourite email client.
Cons
This is a bogus file, it only containes reference to PocoMail, the follow up of Rose City Software. No executable.
PocoMail isn't half what Courier used to be, better stick with Thunderbird.Summary

"Fantastic, superb email software - the best."
Version: Courier Email 3.6
Pros
Everything. Individual accounts, multiple mailboxes, self-created markers to identify numerous categories of email, eg, invoices, accounts, clients, etc, as well as marker flags. Superb, flexible filters.
Cons
Sadly the product is no longer supported.
Summary
I have used Courier and its predecessor, Calypso, since 1998, and have yet to find better email software despite trying dozens of others. Outlook, Outlook Express, Pocomail, Optima, Pegasus, Live Mail, Eudora, etc, etc. Tried them all and none can hold a candle to Courier. Still the best. Upgrading to Windows 7 this week. Hope it survives and continues to serve for another 12 years!!!

"Courier is one of the finest email programs I have used"
Version: Courier Email 3.6
Pros
I like the fact that you can set up separate accounts, with separate .wav notifiers, and it IDs the accounts the email arrives under. It also has a very clean look on the interface. It is now totally free, and a great bargain! Works as well as any!
Cons
It is unfortunate that it no longer is being developed. There is a great group of folks on the Yahoo group who will help you if there is a problem. But many have migrated away from Courier because of the lack of support for Vista, Windows 7, IMAP
Summary
Overall, it is great program. It is the continuation of an earlier program (Calypso) and I am sorry that it won't be continued. It meets my need. Some like that you can turn off the HTML, and it has a good (but not great) address book. Well worth a try!
