Version: CounterSpy 2.1.946
Pros: Counterspy is one of the best antispyware programs on the market.It works all most as good as Spy sweeper.Easy to use interface.Excellent detection of spyware, adware and other threats.Removal of spyware is improved.Realtime protection offers many guards against many applications.Updates daily with many spyware definitions.It also offers removal in trial version.Sunbelt is a great company, I got good info about spyware from them.
Cons: Sometimes the updates freeze, which makes it hard to update.

Pros: Simple and smooth interface, very easy to navigate through the various options and settings.
Automatic and manual updates.
Manual and schedualed scans: full system, quick or custom. Full scan on mine about 28-30 min.
Active Protection: Real time protection. 4 Alert Status Settings.
Can customize how CS deals with found bad applications.
Log keeping of scans and updates.
Cleanig of internet url, history, cookies, temp. files, windows media, wordpad, and windows explorer.
All in all, a very well though out security app. and as far as the $19.95, cheap for a paid app.
As much as I like Ad-aware SE Personal, Spybot-Search and Destroy, and SuperAntiSpyware (good free programs) they take a back seat to this one for me.
Cons: CS's skin is very plain, but does that matter? Maybe for some.

Pros: Thanks for letting me know about the new version.
You always stay on top of things and you help me rest assured that my computer is running at its best and will have as few problems and downtime and malicious attempts on it as possible.
Recommend, as before.

Pros: -a full scan found and removed a trojan resided in my registry missed by "'the top-dogs'" (treble-quotationed) Spyware Doctor 5 and Zonealarm Internet Security Suite 7.0.337

Thanks a lot Sunbelt. Before trying your product I always thought PC Magazine's evaluation was authoritative and accurate and now I guess it's time to listen to what the general community says.
ZoneAlarm Suite and Spyware Doctor are just junks if not trashed or rubbish

Pros: most inexpensive top tier anti spy app i know of. great proactive protection, and flawless on vista. you can't tell me this doesn't knock the newest version of spyware doctor out cold. great support too!
