Version: CounterSpy Enterprise 1.5.2.2
Pros: This utility is probably the best spyware remover and finder that I have ever used. I have tried a whole **** load of them and this is the only one that I have liked. It monitors not only your inbound connection but also anything that you computer itself does. There is a free trial version, but to get the real validated version all you have to do is sign-up for one of their programs and then it's free.
Cons: I can't think on any, other then when you reformat load it last.

Pros: it has a friendly interface with good real time protection!
Cons: never found anything and takes ages to download updates

Pros: I can't review any pros because it never finished installing.
Cons: Okay, this program got to 99% in the installer. It stalled for a few minutes, so I checked PeerGuardian 2 to see if it was blocking anything. Sure enough, it was. It was blocking incoming pings from porn sites. I wasn't running anything else at the time, just the CounterSpy installer. Be warned.

"heavy resource use but decent protection"
Pros: finds cookies and malware that many other programs don't
Cons: CS2 slows down my overclocked and expensive system too much. Active protection on/off doesn't seem to make a difference. I only start the program to scan anymore and then shut it down.

Pros: We are pretty sure the reviewer did not call Tech Support and more than likely installed CSE clients with active protection turned on. That would cause this behavior, and is not recommended in the documentation.
