Version: Corel WordPerfect Office X4
Pros: It's a perfect alternative to MS Office, along with OpenOffice.org and Lotus Notes. It also has a lot of features. It would be better than MS Office if it has a better interface. I got it, because it's really nice.
Cons: The interface is not too nice. And I hope it could have color schemes. Plus, the splash screen at startup isn't that stylish. I know you can remove it, but hey. But it's still a worthy office suite.

"Truly the most intuitive out of the pack"
Pros: I remember about maybe 10 years ago in one of my first real jobs in the high tech industry. I had to perform many tasks that I clearly new what I wanted, but fell like the ultimate dunce trying to make sense out of MSWORD. Disheartening to say the least. A friend introduced me to WORD PERFECT and everything fell into place. Since then I've supported with pleasure corels WORDPERFECT! It even taught me how to use MSWORD. I wish I could explain deeper but it's everything. The charts are in the right order, the page set ups are simple yet detailed if I like. The Fonts chage the whole sheet giving you an actual sample before changing BRAVO, And thank you for keeping it simple ps (MS complicates many things for several reasons, but I do love their product too but not in this case.)
Cons: With openoffice.org being such the most awesome FREE product, I have no idea how MSWORD and Corel are going to be able to justify these absolute ridiculous prices. Especially MS Office. Wake up before open source hands you the ultimate platter. I want to support Corel for even just standing in the ring for several years with the (TAKE OVER THE WORLD MS OFFICE) but one day I won't be able to justify this, as both the big boys will lose from greed

Version: Corel WordPerfect Office X4
Pros: Word perfect is an outsatnding product that can do literally anything that microsoft office can do. The program is easy to use, its got more features than MS Office, and it auto corrects more than MS Office. If you are fimiliar with MS Office you know that it is quite easy to use also, but who wants to keep dishing out over 100 bucks just to get the new version. WordPerfect offers you their product for free. Wordperfect also has just about all the same programs as MS Office, and even a few more. Its becoming more and more known, DELL is putting it on their computers now so you dont even have to download it. I love how many different file types that you can save it in. And you can jingle with just about every setting that you could think of. Like putting in pictures and being able to edit them on Wordperfect was great feature.
Cons: I had two cons, the support was not nearly as superior as MS Office like the help manual and e-mail tech support things of that sort. And I also was not pleased withcorel presentations that comes with the disc. it had far less capabilities than Microsofts competetor.
