    "Newer versions keep getting worse"

    October 31, 2011  |   By Howlin-Wolf

    None at all.

Won't play, crashes and locks my computer.

There hasn't been a decent version of WinDVD since Version 9. WinDVD 2010 is fair, WinDVD 10 doesn't even work. Since Corel got this product from Intervideo is has gone downhill. Get some new programmers, please. Don't buy it. Try the free and if you like it think about buying it. But think long and hard.

I'm sorry you are having problems with WinDVD Pro 11. For your info, we (Corel) just released Service Pack One of the product - Blu-ray playback software frequently requires updates because major studios keep pushing the limits of the Blu-ray specifications and we need to frequently tweak the software to run some of the latest titles. That said, we also did some but fixing with the software. I also invite you to check the system requirements to make sure your system meets them all and if you do, to try the free trial again to see if it now works better.

    Jacques at Corel.
