Pros: i liked this, it has a good veriety of animations that can be added to make stuff look better, the way in which you make them is easy to get used to
Cons: dose tend to lag when playing what youve made

Pros: Having owned and used various versions of Roxio VideoWave, Pinnacle Studio and Adobe Premier Elements, there's no doubt in my mind that Ulead/Corel's VideoStudio "11.5 Plus" should be considered the gold standard of advanced consumer video editors. It's easily the most intuitive interface of it's kind yet the native content and feature set exceeds most similar programs. The FREE upgrade to Version 11.5 (which among other things allows users to create AVCHD [Blu-ray compatible] and HD-DVD on standard DVD-R media) was a generous gesture indeed! Corel also hosts a very active, friendly and informative web forum that both new and seasoned users will appreciate. Like all complex applications VideoStudio has it's flaws but in my experience it's been a very smooth ride since my introduction to the software at Version 9.
Cons: In general, video production software can be finicky due to it's complexity versus various system configs, possible software conflicts, registry issues, etc.
Therefore, as much as I like VideoStudio I urge potential buyers to experiment with trial versions from Corel and other developers before making a final decision. Video software that doesn't (for the most part) run well can be VERY frustrating and difficult to fix.

"overlay, titles and effects are very good"
Pros: Overlay effects are very good, titles have almost any effect and design possible. It runns pretty fast and there is no delays for previewing. Very easy to edit on timeline.
Cons: Although did not ask me, it installed QuickTime as well and changed assigned video file extensions to it, but this can be easy uninstalled.
While saving file there is no estimation of file size.
Funcy design, but a bit difficult to navigate around it, because not all possible functions are on screen.
Overall good progam if you are into video editing and effects are amazing.

"Got Problems with this software, Don't count on help from them."
Pros: Works ok once you get it going. Other software of theirs that I have came bundled with hardware, I use it sometimes it works but is not high end.
Cons: I discovered that this software is totally dependent on Directx. They could have told me that but nooo. You will get no help from the technical support beyond the simplest checking of the setup file and basic system requirements. Ask for more help no answer. I finely figured out how to make it work through trial and error and many years experience, no thanks to them.
