Version: Corel VideoStudio Pro X2
"Worth every minute spent in installing it."
Pros: There are many effects to be applied on a video file, and the end results are always professional. It's easy to use, although many have said otherwise and does not crash at all, contrary to the reviews of others.
Cons: It's a 30 day trial, and the price tag for it is enough to give a heart attack.
Summary: Corel VideoStudio Pro X2 is a wonderful tool to use for tech-savvy people and for the everyday person. It probably depends on the operating system for reliability (I'm using Windows Vista and the program hasn't crashed once on me yet), and is easy to... read more

Version: Corel VideoStudio Pro X2
Pros: Nothing, it crashed my computer 3 times in a row and I removed it
Cons: It doesn't work
Summary: CNET must be running Vista when they reviewed this, because on XP (pack 3) it doesn't work.

Version: Corel VideoStudio Pro X2
"Corel Video Studio is not responding..."
Pros: Very nice user interface, just to bad it does not respond when you click on the "Audio" tab. So if you like producing Video's without audio. This one is for you!
Cons: I have to reboot my PC at least 5x during a video edit. End-Task and restart VideoStudio every minute or so.
Summary: Useless junk. Don't even waste your time to download the trial!!! read more

If you want to try it for 30 days, by all means do so. It's worth a free download. Then just get rid of it.Cons: Like the majority of reviews, it crashes a lot!
Summary: Errr, it's slightly better than Windows Movie Maker but isn't free read more

Version: Corel VideoStudio Pro X2
Pros: Got some great features - if you can find out how to use them!
Cons: It's not intuitive. No instruction manual (not even a PDF file). I find it confusing and frustrating to use.
Summary: After struggling to understand how to edit some old video tapes using Corel Video Studio (bought it 3 days ago), I still can't get it to easily cut and assemble the tapes. To my way of thinking, you review a tape and should be able to take the scisso... read more
