"Not keeping there own files"

It has new features that are helpful

It is ashame that Corel has changed it so much that 12 can not read it's own files. The Mask files .msk or the pspmsk files you can not read in 12 but can see in psp 11 and back. So why would I purchase a program that I can read its own files in, I will stick with 11. I have too many to convert to jpg's, and I am sure others do also. I understand the compition with Photoshop, but this doesnt make any since.

I'm thinking about buying this software and am researching the reviews. I am pleased to see the responses you received from Corel concerning your problems. That improves my opinion quite a bit. Customer service counts!

This works when I try it, so there must be something unusual with your pspmsk file. If you could call Corel Tech Support at 877-662-6735 and email us your msk file, I would like to find out what caused this. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this shouldn't be happening.

I am with the product team at Corel and will look into this. I agree this should definitely work. Files saved in X2 using new features (such as Layer Styles) will not open in 11, but that should be expected. Not opening 11 files in 12 certainly is not, and I will get an answer back to you on this.
