Summary
Syncing iPod/iPad/iPhone photos to specific folders on iTunes is a stupid idea to the point of being useless. I looked for alternate programs to manage photos on my iDevices as I need to add and remove photos frequently, especially on my iPad. To my knowledge, I didn't find a single software that does what CopyTrans Photo does. I tried the trial version and I was already a long-time CopyTrans Manager (free) user. I liked the program, specifically the ability to create albums with ease. It has a good and neat interface and dragging and dropping photos from one panel to the other is the simplest way of transferring photos.
In short, it does what one would need to manage photos on iDevices. The only slight downside is its price, in my opinion, although it's not that expensive, it will no doubt repel some potential customers who aren't in a great need of managing photos. I bought the app in a bundle of 4 CopyTrans apps, all of which I find essential myself. So for me, it was good value for my money.
