"CopyPod saved all my songs"

A great tool which was really helpful to me. I have about 6500 songs on my iPod, and on a certain moment all songs just disappeared on the iPod: they were all gone in iTunes and when also on the iPod itself it listed: 0 songs. Strange because phisically they were all there (iPod about screen said I used 33 gig and still had 5 available). In Windows Explorer I could see all the directories in the hidden iPod folder (F00 tot F49) with all the MP3 files. However copying these to the harddisk did not copy all my Ratings, Playcounts and Playlists. CopyPod was the only program I found which could see all the files. I was able to restore it directly into iTunes (in mp3 format) and keep all my ratings. Thanks guys! -
"Very Useful for Backing up Your Songs"

Wonderful, user-friendly product. My computer broke and I had to reformat so I lost all my songs. I downloaded the trial version of CopyPod and I got all my songs back. Very easy-to-read, helpful instructions included. The reason this product is so wonderful is because it keeps your playlists, ratings, and play counts. The trial version will only let you transfer 100 songs at a time, which is very good considering it's free for a week. Just be sure you alphabetize your songs, highlight exactly 100 songs, remember the 101th song, and copy 100 at a time, starting with the 101th to 200 next time. This product does everything it says it does. I highly recommend it. -
"Great, if you have less than 400 songs"

The trial version will only let you move 400 songs at a time. Great, if you know this info ahead of time, then you can try to select 400 songs and move them. I didn't know that, and wasted a LOT of time trying to figure out WHICH 400 songs the program moved. I think it sucks to only be able to move 400 songs at a time in the trial version, and then, you only get 14 days, which means for most people, you'll only use it once or twice before the trial is up- unless you for some reason like to back your music up every day.
