    "copy paste fix"

    November 18, 2003  |   By jimohio628

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6.1

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have used copypasteX for some time now. I too had problems with the c key mixup, and I emailed the developer. He acknowledged the problem, gave me a temporary workaround, and got to work fixing the bug. I have had no problems with the new 1.6.1 release, nothing I can attribute to CopyPasteX.

    "Buggy-Caused Safari to crash."

    November 18, 2003  |   By Gary P

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6.1

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I loved CopyPaste in the OS 9 days, but it has been slow to respond to the new reality, It still looks cartoonish, like OS 9, and it is buggy. Every incarnation of CopyPaste X I have installed has quickly been removed from my system because it messes with other apps and causes problems. No exception this time in 10.3.1: My toolbar dropdown menus in Safari got huge delays before opening, & then Safari "quit unexpectedly, just vanished from the screen. I would use CopyPaste X if it was stable and harmless like before, but it isn't. Also, its appearance just doesn't fit in OS X. Guess it's back to PTH Clipboard. I don't need all those extra functions anyway. All I need is an extended clip board.

    "Resets Other Sharewares"

    November 17, 2003  |   By silverj1_dotmac

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6.1

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This afternoon I jubilantly downloaded and installed CopyPaste in its much-awaited "Panthter" version. After I restarted my computer, LaunchBar had reverted to its earliest pre-licensing incarnation and so had StickyBrain. I have relied on LaunchBar for years; I had a lot of essential information stored in StickyBrain, some of from this morning not yet backed up. While I don't know absolutely that CopyPaste was responsible for these events, I find it hard to believe that two hitherto solid apps would go bad within five minutes. Although uninstalling CopyPaste will not undo the damage, perhaps the uninstall will prevent more trouble. I have been recommending this program to Mac and PC people for some years but will not recommend this to any Panther or potential-Panther users who have any other shareware at all.

    "perfect"

    November 13, 2003  |   By Elandereth

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6.1 beta

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This app has worked for me since long ago and the current changes follow that path. Great addition to the muted button palette on the desktop and things work perfectly. Its just the greatest, I mean who can do with just one copy/paste when you can have 10 and a lot more. Cant do without it. Six stars if I could

    "Packed with features!"

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6

    Summary

I've used CP for several years, just got the X version. This software has so many features I've always wished for and some unexpected ones that are now indispensible! I'm so thankful for the thought that went into this time-saving utility. I was actually delighted to pay this $20! Pays for itself over and over every day.

I've been using CopyPate since it came out. It's the BEST application to ever come out for the Mac. I can't wait for these guys to make their own OS. They have what it takes to blow Apple & Microsoft out of the water.

    "Problematic is Jaguar .2.6!"

    May 8, 2003  |   By Quadra 950

    Version: CopyPaste X 1.6b4

    Summary

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
(after updating to the 10.2.6, unable to drag&drop at all! In finder and all apps!!) CopyPaste was simply "The" must have utility under 9 (with FinderPop) to work between apps! Now this poor 'cats' gives to developers much less possibilities to navigate, popping up and drop in, but CpoyPaster X is near a new app that loses something but gives much more than the 4.5! I need more than 10 clips on each clipiset, but I understand the advantage to be compatible with the 4.5 in switching 9/10/9|? but now that EZNote 1.5.1 can not more work 'on the fly', C&P helps me. It must grow (my opinion) for this use, organizing more, better and very easy 'on fly notes', like NewNotepad. We will help it!
