"Copernic desktop search great!"
Pros: Searches multiple types of documents at amazing speed. Taskbar and instant window access qute convenient. Can open documents and switch from one to the other fast. Searches both names of documents and within them.
Cons: Have had a couple of glitches but may be due to other programs.

"copernic is ok...but my choice is lookeen!"
Pros: lookeen is, in my opinion faster and more accurate concerning the search results
Cons: bote software are not completely for free

Version: Copernic Desktop Search 3.2
Pros: Even though it's quite limited compared to the paid versions it's still is very effective at what it does.
Cons: Past versions of this software weren't so limited. The new 3.0 version is more limited than the 2.0 version. It also shows one relatively small advertisement. However, the software still works great and it's free so I can't really complain...
Summary: Compared to other desktop search software this one doesn't ram my hard drive to the ground and its indexing is very fast. The overall interface is also quite nice and more advanced than others. read more

"Works as advertised - seems to be pretty quick"
Pros: Speeds up basic searching and is not a big drain on system performance.
Cons: Doesn't have advanced metadata querying.

"great productivity tool- pro version worth the money"
Pros: fast, easy to use, pro version also searches calendar, tasks, and notes
Cons: no issues thus far
Summary: fastest way to find missing information. ads are not that annoying and worth it if you want it free.... Copernic has a nice mobile plug in as well. Let's you search your computer with your cellphone... works well also. read more
