- amazing way to browse (stunning graphical interface) pictures and videos. it's so good, you'll dig through all your old photos because it's just so cool how it works.
- easy way to search multiple websites for media.Cons
- no MP3 player so there's no way to browse your musical library (this is a huge bummer since the interface is so good that you go through your entire library just because the interface makes it so easy to find your stuff)
Summary
When I was looking for a media viewer that was tablet friendly to browse pictures, videos, and music, someone recommended Cooliris. I had never heard of this before. But it's just the most amazing app for browsing and searching your media. It works great for a Tablet PC and works even better for a normal computer.
It was just so easy to browse, find, and play movies online, that I was actually just hopping around and playing movies that I would never play had I been sitting at the main page for Youtube or Hulu.
The only negative really is that you can't browse or play any music (you can only play music videos). Please add a music browser to this app please!!!! -

the tv channel viewer is by far my favorite and since I dont have cable any more it makes it that much more useful I can still watch all my shows just now in more style

it can run a little slow at times and is resource hoggy but that is expected because of the graphics in its interface but could still use a little less I think, on one gig is uses nearly 84% of it

I love it even with the resource hog problems I think it could be the future i would like to see some more features added in like an easier way to view full web pages in this format like browsing facebook but in the iris interface and more tv channels included with better searching and maybe some tabbed browsing included there is so much that could be done and iris is just touching the tip of the ice burg on this one

Summary
I use it quite often, for videos of various interests this is super. Add the hulu access to movies and it's nothing short of great entertainment. Why can't IE come up with an innovation like this? Guess they believe what they offer is good 'nuff..
