"Trojan inside"
Version: Cool Player 2.15
Pros
None
Cons
A Trojan horse "Downloader.Agent" comes with this download, detected by AVG-antivirus.
I thought: maybe the other guys that talk about viruses are wrong, but they aren't, this is crap, should not be on download.com

"Norton antivirus reports a virus"
Version: Cool Player 2.15
Pros
What? Can we have a "no stars" rating, please?
Cons
Upon finishing install, NAV reported and deleted a temporary file, then the system reports a missing file "release.exe" and the installer tries to fool you into restarting the system...if it isn't a virus, it surely behaves like one. Best avoid it.

"yikes, how many songs will it hold, ten?"
Version: Cool Player 2.15
Pros
simple in appearance
Cons
I put 1/3 of my songs on the playlist and it "Encounted a problem", twice, so I uninstalled it. I was interested in the sound quality, but alas, it seems to hold only 10 songs, from what I could tell. I wonder about the other reviews?

"Finally!!!"
Version: Cool Player 2.15
Pros
All hail the murderer of Winamp! This is the best mp3 player ive found! I cannot say enough about it. Aside from the playlist, if you double click an mp3 file in explorer, it INSTANTLY PLAYS. When is the last time you could say that? I hate waiting for proggies to load! Its small, and uses almost no memory at all.
Cons
....um,....needs more keyboard controls. Almost everything i have seen is mouse controled. This is fine unless you hate your mouse like i do, lol!

"A snazzy, lightweight, multi-format supporting media player."
Version: Cool Player 2.15
Pros
500 kb download, easy to install, no advertisements, quick loading of playlists/tracks, and definitely not a resource hog unlike some media players. Time to say goodbye to Windows Media Player for me, at least as far as music is concerned. Oh, and it supports Ogg Vorbis!
