"Almost as good as a hardware DVD Player"

Big advantages over other software DVD players:
Resumes from where you stopped watching
Single frame play mode
Resizes easily
Can make your desktop background the videoCons
No zoom function
English translation is not perfect. Very readable and usable, but not quite right
UI is clunky. It is functional, but lacks elegance. The main player control hides, and you have to ALT-TAB to get back at it.Summary
Definitely worth $30.

Product is fine, but the commercial support is pathetic. I rebuilt my PC, and the software will no longer license, and tech support has had no response for 3 weeks.
Try Blaze DVD instead. It's basically the same product with a different skin, and is free. -

I have two computers and one notebook computer. After I bought Cool dvd player I found I can only active it on one computer. So I write to Coolsoft and say what happend. They tell me I am honest. Then they give me two free reg codes. Can you belive? I am so happy.

Summary
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS. I bought the product and the registration code was supposed to be included in the receipt email. It wasn't. I contacted customer service and a WEEK later they provided me with a non-working registration code. When I informed them that they had sent an invalid registration code, they said that they could only issue one registration code and I'd have to buy another license. CON ARTISTS!!
Terrible business practice. The software seemed to be good during the trial period and it is a shame that they do not support phone support and appear to only be interested in money. Please be careful with this company. -

I downloaded and paid for this software over a wireless network. Then a month later it told me that I needed to buy it again. I tried to go through their customer service to get the problem solved. They said that they guaranteed that it would work. It still does not work and they are refusing to answer any of my emails. And they are refusing to refund my money even after they said that they guaranteed that the product would work on my computer. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Their customer service is lousy.
