"Best recipe software on the market"
Cook'n is very easy to use. Organizing recipes is simple and there are large, easy-to-see buttons at the top of the program so you can quickly navigate between functions. Capturing recipes is fun, and you can divide recipes into categories for even more customization.
Mobile apps aren't out yet, which is a bummer. It looks like they're seeking beta testers though, so hopefully they are close.
Totally recommended. I've seen complaints here and there from others who are upset that DVO, the creators of Cook'n, no longer offers phone support for customers. I have checked and there is not a single similar program which offers phone support, so this ought not to be a detriment. In my experience, their email support has been both fast and useful.
Perhaps the best way to evaluate the comparison between programs is thus: go to DVO.com and check out their site. Then go to LivingCookbook.com and check out theirs. Which site looks like it was built as a middle school class project in 1998? Which company do you think is more ready to integrate new technologies and to continue to evolve in volatile markets? Though Cook'n is more expensive, the decision shouldn't be difficult.
