"Buggy, unhelpful, and craps out."

Pros
The layout for the main screen is cleanly designed, and it's pretty easy to select the outputs you want.
Cons
The file selector doesn't let you browse by what the file _is_, only by what it's named. Thus, for a DVD, you have to open each file individually and see what's playing.
The help files are anything but helpful.
When you start converting files, the program halts and a popup window appears. The window's text says that the trial version only converts up to 30 minutes at a time, but it doesn't matter even if the file you're converting is shorter than that--it just craps out anyway. And then it urges you to buy the program.

I tried converting a .dv file to .avi and then .mpeg2, and on both tries it lost the visual aspect of the video. It also lacks grammar skills.
