"Useless "Conversion""
Version: ConvertMovie 10.4
Pros
It was fairly easy to edit in.
Cons
Movavi converted NOTHING--the FREE codecs do the work--and the trial...
Summary
I didn't even get past the trial. When I went to "save project" it said that because it was a trial, it was going to leave a "water mark" on my video. Thought that might be a small movavi logo in the corner, like that annoying crap people do to their YouTube videos--but WRONG! It left a giant CG imprint lasting for 4-8 seconds every 10 seconds. So I couldn't view the video long enough or well enough to make sure the program was editing of decent quality. Then on top of all of that, it skipped the music, sound and video. Was it the program forcing that watermark that make it skip? Or was it just the Movavi editing program itself that was skipping. Don't know, don't care, won't buy.

"not exactly freeware"
Version: ConvertMovie 10.4
Pros
looks easy to use
Cons
This is a 30 day trial, but during the 30 days, whatever you convert has a watermark added to it. totally worthless to me.

"batch feature doesn't work after 30 days"
Version: ConvertMovie 10.4
Pros
None to report.
Cons
After purchasing the product, the batch feature doesn't work after 30 days. The customer support is very poor. Replies take 5 to 7 days. The product and company isn't prime time. The product still doesn't work.
Summary
Skip movavi.com for products.

"Don't Buy: Little Improvement with the Latest Iteration"
Version: ConvertMovie 9.2.1
Pros
Simple installation, program starts quickly.
Cons
Frequent updates that do little to fix fundamental conversion problems, manufacturer will not refund money, bad support and lackluster experience with the latest plus previous versions.
Summary
Please don't waste your time or money with this product. I recently downloaded and installed the latest version, Movavi 9.2.1 and was unimpressed as with previous iterations of this product. There are better choices, such as those from Xilisoft.

"enjoy pulling your hair out?"
Version: ConvertMovie 9.0.1
Pros
offers the most popular editing capabilities
Cons
a conglomeration of routines cobbled together that don't work well and dont' talk to one another.
Summary
There has to be a better way. Movavi handles a good array of file types, and offers - by jamming together a disparate collection of programs from different sources - the usual popular video editing capabilities, but there is no interface between the various routines and once you actually get down to editing it's actually quite clumsy. It's not particularly smooth and the help files have no value at all. Video editing is not easy and requires real software. This is not it.
