Version: Controlling an uninterruptible power source (UPS) 1.4.14.43
"Useless for UPS with USB interface"
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Didn't find UPS, Newpoint Power Sentry. Error message said that UPS should be connected via COM port, not USB. If USB port is used, not all program features will be available! The science! The magic! The Wonder! No thanks.

Version: Controlling an uninterruptible power source (UPS) 1.4.14.43
Pros: Works with Smart-UPS 400 which APC no longer supports. Displays UPS info, battery charge, line voltage and frequency, shut down options.
Cons: It is written for areas with 220 volts, 50 Hz and there doesn't seem to be an option to change to 120 volts 60 Hz. The settings page shows "Input voltage failure" the input and output voltage dials are pinned at the low end.
Summary: Still works OK & shows 120.9 volts 60.00 Hz on my system. It seems like a good basic UPS program. It is good to have this program after being abandoned by APC since they no longer support this UPS with their software. read more
