this does seem a bit snappier. i skipped the 6.0.2 release as I had heard bad things, but there's no reason not to update to this, provided of course that you have a legit license. -

I hate to admit it, but this upgrade has significantly increased the speed & performance while running XP Pro on my 12" G4 laptop. For the 2 or so hours I have tried it, it is stable, runs fast enough to be useful, and is well er...impressive. -

...don't understand how this could be, but 6.1 shows great speed improvement over 6.01!!?? Now it's almost useable. Joy! -

although that may be from the restart I had to perform. It does really make me sad that MS is steering this boat now. All their apps on the Mac are totally half baked. Hope it doesn't happen to this one. I'm curious to see how MS handles support issues on it. -
"Still has Connectix Logo!"

I upgraded to 6.1, I did a second mouse click on my C drive and selected 'properties', and low and behold, the Connectix lofo is still there. It says it is manufactured and supported by Connectix. Did Microsoft goof?

The upgrade from version 6.0.2 to 6.1 went smoothly. BTW, two interesting things happened, one positive and one rather negative: the upgrade installs new VPC Additions when you start Windows, and in Windows XP also obliges you to reactivate it (saying, approximately, that you have made a consistent number of hardware modifications, and thus you need to reactivate Windows before 3 days: probably, it's because the virtual hardware is now Microsoft instead of Connectix); luckily, the reactivation (via the web) went well... -

LOL, this is a joke, correct? This isn't an upgrade, this is a backgrade.
MS owns Virtual PC, and you'd think they would make it a better product...actually I'll rephrase that...they know how to make a good product bad.
I can't even get past the registration part, after this upgrade, and it crashes on me... can we say blue screen of death?
You'd think for almost $300, MS would actually want one of their products to work...
The Mac OS is best by far, and this emulator proves it... -

10.2.3 freezes on VPC 6.0.1 quit... I think usu. w/ Win 98, not sure... many others have this trouble too. (even conenctix's own forum has this issue)... Hate it when I have to use VPC now, puts me on edge wondering when it will freeze the unfreezable OS X.
