This utility tracks key computer statistics, although we experienced some stability issues. Computer Status Monitor displays a graphical representation of CPU activity, physical and virtual memory usage, system resources, and disk-space usage in a small, straightforward interface. Setup could be easier, however. To get started, go to the system tray icon, select Computer Status Options, and click Define Main Options. From the Statistics tab, select the information you want displayed, although system resources are only available for Windows 95, 98 and Me. On the System tab, complete information about your processor, display resolution, Windows version, and memory and disk capacity is displayed. A nifty feature allows you to synchronize your system clock with one of several available timeservers. Unfortunately, without a help file to guide us, we encountered runtime errors when we attempted to show the system monitor before setup, and the program inexplicably locked up at one point. With its ease of use, Computer Status Monitor is a decent selection for anyone willing to overlook the stability woes.Publisher's description
From Purple Parrot :This program displays CPU usage, memory size and usage, resource usage, disk space and usage, processor type and speed, number of processors, version and build number of Windows, and laptop battery charge status and level. This information can be permanently displayed in any location on your screen (color-coded to indicate usage levels) or minimized to the system tray. Best of all, you get to select which information is displayed. In addition, the program will allow you to maintain your computer clock's accuracy by synchronizing with any one of a number of time servers located around the world. Version 3.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
What's new in this version:
Corrected a small problem which would occur if more than one virtual drive was added to a computer while the monitor was visible. Made a change to show the correct operating system information when running on Windows Vista.More popular System Utilities downloads
